Giving this spot 4/5 mostly because there are way cuter beachside options in this area to eat that are actually on the water. This spot sits off the endpoint off a part of the Marina and just isn't picturesque like many of the other options in the area. You can enter thru the hotel or from the backside off the water. I thought that latter part was odd - no gate or anything separates the general public from the restaurant. There's valet and self-parking and the price difference is big, yet valet only offers spots slightly closer to the door than self-parking does, so self-parking was more than fine. You're using the hotel's open lot. When we went for a 5:30pm Saturday reservation, there was plenty of parking. There were 5 of us at the table. For 5 entrees and 8 adult drinks, the tab came to around $95/each with 4 of us splitting the tab for one of our friend's birthdays. The price point is on par with other spots in the area, which is why I would have picked a cuter spot had it been up to me lol. I had the salmon dinner and it was REALLY good! I even ate the skin, which I usually don't do lol. The quinoa was cooked in a way I hadn't had it before ... seared instead of boiled, maybe? It was tasty. Loved the veggies, too. I had 2 diff margs and they were both good and aesthetically pleasing.

Husband & I came here for brunch before ending our mini getaway. Sat in the bar area and Mauro gave us the best service from start to finish. His cocktails are on point!! My husband loved his breakfast old fashioned! We selected the "Executive chef's brunch tasting" menu and O M G every bite was heavenly!!!! We even met Chef Ron in person and thanked him for these amazing meals. Mauro & Chef Ron made our getaway extra special. Truly an amazing experience!!!

Always a great experience coming here. Came recently to have the Happy Hour menu. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was delicious. Wings were a little fatty but still good to eat. Ambiance is always beautiful. To sit outside on the marina sun or no sun. They have heaters and firepits. A great pup friendly spot!

My wife and I stayed at Jamaica Bay Inn last weekend and decided to try their on site restaurant before we left. My egg scramble was great and my wife really enjoyed her breakfast burrito. The view of the marina was nice and so was the service that we received. We look forward to returning soon!

We had lunch here yesterday after landing. We wanted to go somewhere close. They had a brunch menu with a special and their lunch special. My daughter was bummed because she wanted chicken fingers and brussel sprouts yuck! We both ordered the lunch special. I will say the menu is small but everything we ate was really good and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. We sat outside it was a little chilly but very relaxing. Oh and the playlist they had playing was fire! See my pics

We enjoyed our brunch at the Beachside Restaurant and Bar. The service was fantastic! The only problem was that they were only accepting cash because their internet was down. Fortunately, we had some cash to dine. ;-)

Went to the beachside tonight with a friend for happy hour 3-6 at the bar. Getting there from Santa Monica is not easy but once you are there the staff is very welcoming and the food and drinks are very good. Also we parked in the public MDR lot next store for 4$. I had the lychee margarita which was tasty and ACtually had alcohol that I could feel in it. I have not had a real drink for more than a year of going out in this town. I was starting to think that alcohol just had no effect on me so cheers to Mauro, the bar tender, for setting us up right. The ceviche was delicious and well portioned. The calamari was delicious but it is a smaller portion. At first it was pretty quiet, but as more people came in, combined with the view of the marina, it was a really nice night. I will be back again.

If you're looking for an upscale, cozy, and romantic restaurant with amazingly perfect ambiance both inside and out, "Beachside Restaurant and Bar" just might be the place for you. I booked reservations during the evening of Saturday 10/12/2024 via-OpenTable and that was an absolute breeze. Prior to entering the business, I was able to use their valet service (which was $10) and proceeded inside the hotel. In this case, it is the Hilton - Jamaica Bay Inn (Marina Del Rey). Once inside, you are given instructions of the main entrance where they check your name off the reservation list. As for the location itself, you're only 1/3 mile away from the Pacific Ocean while several hotels/restaurants/businesses are all adjacent to various marinas within the basin. The interior of the restaurant offers a spacious, open, and inviting layout complete with generous seating, a separate bar area, multiple TV's, and plush white chairs complete with a sky blue mural painting. The exterior showcases this place all in its glory with stunning views of the marina, palm trees, that Southern California sand, and tons of seating complete with heat lamps on the cooler evenings. Once my lady and I were seated, we were given iced waters and menus. Since it was a comfortable but cool 66° around 7:15pm, there were an abundance of heat lamps to keep us toasty. As far as their menu, they offer a very extensive selection during all times of the day. This includes generous brunch offerings, dinner choices (with most of it geared at seafood favorites as well as chicken, beef, & steak), desserts, and a full bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails. I ended up ordering the "Salmon" (priced at $36) which came with parsnip puree, Okinawa sweet potatoes and red chimichurri. She went with the "Steak Au Poivre" (priced at $55) which is a 12 oz. cut of New York steak (cooked medium-well) complete with green peppercorn sauce and a side of truffle fries. We also had sweet cocktails which were of a rum/pineapple concoction complete with strawberry puree and garnished with a strawberry and lime slice. Our server took care of us from start to finish as she was very friendly, accommodating, and made sure everything was on point. As far as my salmon, the flavor and presentation exceeded my expectations as the parsnip puree provided a velvety smooth and creamy addition to this entree. I even tried a bite of her steak and that too was delicious and cooked perfectly. And since this was a birthday celebration, our waitress brought out a complimentary vanilla bean ice cream (with a candle) complete with a mint leaf, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. All in all, "Beachside Restaurant and Bar" was an excellent restaurant that is worth visiting. The service that our amazing waitress provided paired up with the ambiance, presentation of the food, views of the marina, and entire dining experience was top-notch. Was it pricey? Yes this place isn't cheap but the entire vibe that my lady and I felt was well worth every penny. With that said and done, I am going to give this place a perfect five-star rating.
